How to Apply

Enrolment Process

To apply for a course please follow the steps outlined below:


1. Read the Student Handbook in full and the FIC website (A copy of the Student Handbook can be accessed by contacting the Training Manager on +61 3 9005 1951 or by e-mail at info@flinderscollege.edu.au or visit the campus at Level 6, 271 William Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000).


2. Contact the Training Manager with any questions and seek clarification on any area relating to the course applied for or related matter or the enrolment process.


3. Complete the Enrolment application form. Review the Enrolment Application Form prior to submission to ensure all the required information has been provided and the relevant supporting documentation is attached.


4. Sign the Enrolment Application Form to declare that you understand all of the information provided and agree to the FIC terms and conditions of enrolment.


5. Return the Enrolment application form along with supporting documentation to Flinders International College at Level 6, 271 William Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000 or e-mail info@flinderscollege.edu.au.  All ELICOS students regardless if an English language certificate has been provided to FIC must undertake a FIC English Test prior to course commencement. This applies to students applying on and offshore.


6. Flinders International College will assess the application and notify students of the outcome within 5 working days of receiving the application.


7. If the application is successful, a Letter of Offer and Written Agreement will be sent to students.


8. If the application is unsuccessful or incomplete FIC will inform students in writing including reasons why the application was unsuccessful and/ or indicate further documentation/ information that has to be provided.


9. Read the Letter of Offer and Written Agreement carefully and seek clarification on any area by contacting FIC.


10. If a student understands all the relevant information provided in the Letter of Offer and Written Agreement they may choose to accept the FIC enrolment offer. To accept the FIC enrolment offer students are to complete and sign the Written Agreement, and declare that they understand all of the information provided and agree to the terms and conditions of enrolment at FIC.


11. Completed Written Agreements are to be returned to Flinders International College at Level 6, 271 William Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000 or e-mail info@flinderscollege.edu.au.


12. Students are then to pay the relevant fees due at this time. (as indicated in the Written Agreement).


13. Once the completed and signed Written agreement and payment of fees have been received by FIC, an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) document will be forwarded to the student along with information on the course start date.


14. Students will use this eCoE to secure a student visa.
